Business Development Manager – Cold Store Warehousing

Location: Italy (Flexible with travel to sites as needed)

To continuously expand our business and add even more value for our customers, we are hiring a Business Development Manager with a focus on our Cold Store Warehouse and preferable also has some knowledge about transportation.

In Italy we have two warehouse locations Gattatico (R.E.) and Controguerra (Abruzzo). Although this will be a hybrid role we prefer candidates to be in the office of Gattatico at least once or twice a week.

The role:

This position combines tactical sales activities to provide end-to-end supply chain solutions for our Cold Stores and also a strategic focus on developing new business opportunities. You will also work with existing Lineage accounts to maintain and expand their business too. This will be a standalone role in Italy and you will report into the director of Business Development.

What you’ll be doing:

· Consultative selling with a focus on our Cold Store Warehouses

· Developing new business and maintain and expand current accounts

· Managing inbound sales enquiries and formal tenders

· Creating tailored proposals for customer requirements

· Building long-term partnerships with both new and existing accounts

· Maintaining accurate records in the sales database (CRM)

Who we’re looking for:

· Strong B2B sales experience (consultative selling) with proven new business generation

· Cold store knowledge/experience is very beneficial

· Experience working to targets in a structured, professional environment

· Proven ability to build and convert a sales pipeline

· Broader (European) logistics experience is a must

· Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of the English language
