The Role

Baxter is seeking an energetic, driven, and highly organised Logistics Coordinator to join our Planning & Fulfillment team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in managing the movement of essential healthcare equipment across Australia, while gaining exposure to planning, fulfilment, customer operations, and large-scale logistics projects.

Reporting directly to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager, you'll work closely with internal stakeholders, service teams, freight providers, warehouses, and customers to ensure seamless delivery and installation experiences. Key responsibilities

You'll be responsible for coordinating the allocation, movement, installation, and retrieval of critical capital equipment, including hospital beds and surgical tables, ensuring customers receive exceptional service every step of the way.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing the end-to-end logistics of capital equipment across Australia

- Coordinating freight movements with carriers, warehouses, service technicians, and internal teams

- Working closely with Planning & Fulfillment to optimise stock allocation and product availability

- Supporting major installation projects and customer deployments

- Maintaining strong relationships with freight partners and key stakeholders

- Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives that enhance customer outcomes and operational efficiency

- Monitoring logistics performance and analysing data to identify trends and opportunities

- Providing proactive communication and problem resolution for customers and internal stakeholders.

Key requirements:

- Proven experience within the Australian domestic freight and transport industry
- Experience coordinating freight movements across multiple carriers and locations
- Strong understanding of freight operations, transport networks, delivery scheduling, and logistics execution
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight carriers, and warehouse operations
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiencies and customer experience.
