We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a  Actuarial Assistant .

In this role you will:

- Carry out the end-to-end actuarial reporting process, including data preparation, assumption setting, model configuration, model execution, results review, analysis and submission.

- Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for insurance entities under IFRS 17.

- Prepare management information under other reporting bases, such as embedded value.

- Ensure that financial reporting activities comply with internal controls and internal and external audit requirements.

- Maintain robust control structures, governance arrangements and documentation standards.

- Support analytical reviews for new business management, sensitivities, analysis of change, business projections and the impact of assumption changes.

- Support assessments relating to VFA eligibility and onerous contracts under IFRS 17.

To be successful you will need:

- A university degree in a quantitative subject, together with progress towards or completion of professional actuarial qualifications.

- Good spoken and written English.

- Strong communication skills.

- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

- A structured and detail-oriented approach to analytical and reporting work.

- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.
