Job Description

Development is the largest discipline at Endava. Our developers design, build, and release software products in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Always collaborating with cross-functional project teams, our developers are adaptable problem-solvers with a client-oriented mindset.

As a Senior Go Developer at Endava, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Developing and testing solutions in Go based on given requirements
- Estimating tasks and participating in daily team sync-ups
- Participating in code reviews
- Daily communication with the client through emails, phone sync-ups etc.
- Collaborating with the QA engineering team to ensure the delivered code meets the defined standards.

Qualifications

- Experience with the latest Go versions (7+ years);
- Strong understanding of Go fundamentals, concurrency model (goroutines, channels), memory management, and performance tuning;
- Solid knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean code practices;
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS);
- Knowledge of web protocols and technologies, including RESTful APIs and HTTP/HTTPS;
- Experience designing and developing RESTful and event-driven services in Go;
- Experience with source code versioning systems (Perforce, Git, SVN);
- Good verbal and written English;
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases;
- Strong experience with Microservices architecture and distributed systems;
- Solid understanding of the complete product development lifecycle;
- Strong analytical skills, systematic approach, and ability to work independently;
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes;
- Experience with Go frameworks and libraries (e.g. Gin, Echo, Fiber, gRPC).
