An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Infrastructure Resilience Manager to join our team in Bristol, operating within the global CTO Infrastructure Resilience & Security function as part of the wider CTO Technology group.

The function establishes enterprise resilience requirements, provides independent assurance and enables improvement across infrastructure platforms, services, facilities and third-party dependencies; delivery and day-to-day operations remain with accountable engineering and operational teams.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Resilience Manager to lead and mature our enterprise-wide approach to technology resilience. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring our infrastructure services, platforms, and technology capabilities remain resilient, recoverable, and aligned to business and customer needs.

You'll work across a complex technology landscape, partnering with infrastructure, architecture, security, risk, compliance, and business teams to establish resilience standards, provide assurance, and drive continuous improvement. The role also plays a key part in disaster recovery, major incident response, regulatory engagement, and strategic technology change initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced resilience professional who enjoys influencing senior stakeholders and shaping resilience strategy within a large-scale global environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain the enterprise infrastructure resilience framework, standards, and operating models.

- Define and govern service criticality and recovery requirements across the technology estate.

- Lead risk-based resilience assurance activities across infrastructure services, cloud platforms, data centres, and third-party providers.

- Oversee disaster recovery strategies, recovery planning, and scenario-based testing programmes.

- Provide expert guidance and challenge to technology programmes, architecture decisions, and strategic change initiatives.

- Deliver meaningful resilience risk reporting, governance, and senior management insight.

- Coordinate resilience support during major incidents, recovery events, audits, and regulatory reviews.

- Lead, coach, and develop resilience practitioners while fostering a strong resilience culture across technology teams.

- Represent the function within senior governance, audit, risk, and assurance forums.

What will you bring to the role?

You'll possess significant experience in infrastructure resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity, technology risk, and operational resilience within a complex organisation.

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate proven experience leading enterprise-wide resilience frameworks and assurance programmes. Displaying robust knowledge of disaster recovery planning, recovery testing, and resilience governance.

A skilled communicator adept at influencing senior stakeholders across global technology functions, with a deep understanding of how technology resilience supports customer outcomes, business continuity, and organisational strategy.

Having the ability to make sound judgements in complex, high-impact situations where risks and dependencies may not always be clear.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Strong understanding of hybrid technology environments (i.e. cloud platforms, data centres, networks, identity and access management, storage technologies, backup & recovery solutions).

- Experience translating regulatory and business requirements into practical resilience controls and assurance activities.

- Knowledge of recognised business continuity, technology resilience, information security, and risk management practices.

- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to provide functional leadership for infrastructure resilience, contractors or matrixed specialists.

- Evidence of ongoing professional development and capability to operate effectively at senior management level.

- Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience.
