The Opportunity

You will be part of RSS Analytics and Automation - a global team with regional presence in Switzerland, India, Costa Rica, Hungary, Latvia and Malaysia. We operate in an agile organizational set-up without extensive hierarchical structure, where all our employees lead from every seat. As an Automation Business Partner within Roche Services and Solutions (RSS), you will join a collaborative and passionate team of automation and data enthusiasts. In this role, you will lead end-to-end projects to automate business processes, shaping solutions that empower our Roche colleagues and ultimately impact patients worldwide.

In this role, you will:

- Lead end-to-end implementation of automation solutions from initial idea assessment through to retirement.
- Assess new use cases, map business processes, and identify key process improvements.
- Create essential project documentation, including business cases, process designs, requirements, and progress reports.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and developers to support solution design, deployment, testing, and operations.
- Partner with the global product owner to manage project and solution portfolios, optimize resource utilization, and align on team objectives (OKRs).
- Manage the lifecycle of live catalogue solutions by driving adoption, overseeing incidents and change requests, and decommissioning legacy applications.
- Serve as a strategic liaison across teams, fostering an innovative culture through workshops, brainstorming sessions, and proactive demand generation.

Who You Are

You are an entrepreneurial and analytical project leader who thrives in an agile, self-aligning environment. You bring strong problem-solving skills, excel at cross-functional communication, and are passionate about driving impactful digital solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Proven project management experience leading end-to-end automation initiatives.
- Advanced experience creating or leading projects using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, combined with experience in at least one of the following: SAP Scripting, AppSheet, AWS, GCP, or VBA.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems (experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus).
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into Automation & Artificial Intelligence (A&AI) specifications.
- Working knowledge of Agile and/or Lean methodologies.
- Readiness to work in an onsite or hybrid work mode.
