Our Team

Our team, that you will be joining, is working on a crucial part of the systems crafted to maintain the trust of the exchange (and market) by preventing “bad” orders from being entered. This is what we call Pre-Trade-Risk-Analysis. To do this, a sophisticated graph analysis must be completed in microseconds by our system and hence we have very high requirements for our system.

What you will do:

- Test Automation and Quality Engineering Design, develop and maintain automated test suites in our in-house automation framework on Python.
- Build scalable, maintainable and reusable test automation solutions for backend services, APIs and complex business workflows.
- Review existing automated coverage and continuously improve automation effectiveness, reliability and maintainability.
- Integrate and maintain automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

- ## Test Design and Execution
Plan, implement and report tests in qTest, our test orchestration platform.
- Design comprehensive test scenarios covering positive paths, negative paths, edge cases, boundary conditions and stress scenarios.
- Apply risk-based testing techniques to ensure critical business flows receive appropriate coverage.
- Execute exploratory, integration and regression testing when required.

- ## Continuous Improvement
Use quality metrics and test analytics to identify coverage gaps and improve testing effectiveness.
- Take ownership of initiatives that improve test coverage, automation efficiency and overall product quality.
- Partner with developers, business analysts and product owners to ensure quality is built into the product lifecycle.

What We Expect:

Required Experience

- A minimum of 4-8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with significant hands-on test automation experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python 3 and proven experience developing non-trivial automation frameworks, test suites, scripts or applications.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining automated tests for complex enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques, including risk-based testing, boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, negative testing, edge-case testing and exploratory testing.
- Strong experience working in Agile software development teams.
- Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence and qTest or similar test management tools.
- Good experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.
- Ability to independently investigate complex issues, identify risks and drive quality improvements.
- Solid understanding of running systems on a Linux platform.

Nice to Have

- Basic knowledge of non-functional testing (NFT).
- Exposure to Capital Market domain – Trading and Pre-Trade Risk.
- Experience with Selenium or similar UI automation tools.
- Familiarity with code quality and software composition tools such as SonarQube, Nexus IQ Server, or equivalent.
- Prior programming experience (Java, Python, bash-scripting, etc.)
