Are you an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years post qualification experience working in a social care, learning disabilities, mental health, younger adults or children’s setting? If so, then this could be the post for you!
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our expanding OT workforce within Adult Social Care. We are specifically looking for an experienced OT to support our OT workforce across the Learning Disabilities, Metal Health and Younger Adults Teams.
About the job
The Younger Adults Team provides OT intervention for younger adults aged 18 to 25, as well as for older children who are transitioning from Children’s to Adult Services.
As Advanced Practitioner, you will have direct line management responsibility for the OTs within the Younger Adults Team, including prioritisation and allocation of work.
The Younger Adults Team also receives all referrals for children’s OT assessments, and as such you will work in collaboration with Advanced Practitioners from the Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Teams to allocate children’s work across all 3 teams.
You will provide professional support to OTs within the Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Teams in relation to both children’s and adults case work.

If you are an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in complex casework and a passion for high-quality, person-centred practice, this role is perfect for you.
