Technical Program Manager – Docking Solutions (Taipei)

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end Dock program execution across hardware, firmware, software, validation, and ODM teams, ensuring delivery of product milestones, quality targets, and launch commitments.
- Drive cross-functional alignment between product management, engineering, validation, supply chain, and partner teams to define scope, priorities, dependencies, and program objectives.
- Own program planning and tracking , including schedules, risks, resource allocation, issue management, and executive status reporting to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate technical decision making and issue resolution , facilitating structured triage reviews, root cause analysis, and escalation management for critical Dock product challenges.
- Manage external partner and vendor engagements , ensuring effective collaboration with ODMs, chipset suppliers, and ecosystem partners to meet product, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives , including adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices, automation, data-driven program insights, and productivity improvements across Dock development and validation activities.

Work Experience

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years leading engineering programs (hardware, firmware, software) in matrixed environments.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating and directing matrixed teams and resources.
- Strong understanding of desktop and notebook PC architecture.
- Experience with embedded systems, BIOS, Embedded Controller, UEFI, and low-level hardware interactions.
- Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality firmware, software, or AI-enabled solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with security aspects of firmware, such as secure boot and firmware update mechanisms.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Previous experience working with ODMs and third-party vendors.
