Job Summary:
We are seeking a Process Excellence Specialist on a fixed-term basis to support HR Operations transformation initiatives, ServiceNow HRSD readiness activities, and process standardization efforts.
This role will provide additional capacity for the Process Excellence team during a period of increased project demand, including support for process documentation, current-state and future-state process mapping, process transition activities, project intake management, stakeholder coordination, ServiceNow readiness, and operational governance.
The position will work closely with HR Operations, COEs, HRBPs and project stakeholders to ensure HR processes are documented, scalable, operationally ready, and aligned with future employee experience goals. The role independently manages assigned workstreams while working under the guidance of the Process Excellence Lead. This position is intended to provide temporary support for key transformation initiatives and resource coverage needs.
This position is being established to provide temporary support for:
- ServiceNow HRSD process readiness and implementation activities.
- HR process documentation and standardization initiatives.
- Process transitions and operational readiness projects.
- Project intake, process mapping, and governance activities.
- Additional capacity support during critical transformation initiatives and temporary team resource constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Business Continuity and Team Support. Cross-train team members, maintain backup coverage, and provide support across functions to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Maintain HR Operational Knowledge. Stay current on HR processes, systems, tools, and services, including related Finance and IT processes that impact HR operations. Process Mapping and Documentation . Document current- and future-state workflows, handoffs, controls, roles, and regional variations; maintain process maps, SOPs, job aids, and requirements. Process Improvement. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and strengthen moderately complex HR processes; complete root cause analysis and recommend practical solutions. Project Intake and Prioritization Support. Gather business needs, volumes, risks, impacts, and dependencies; maintain intake tools, project trackers, decision logs, milestones, and action items. ServiceNow Readiness and HR Transformation Support. Translate approved requirements into workflows and business rules; support process validation, testing, training inputs, knowledge materials, and implementation readiness. Process Transition and Operational Readiness. Support readiness assessments, transition plans, knowledge transfer, operational handoffs, and post-implementation reviews. Stakeholder Collaboration. Coordinate with HR Operations, Shared Services, COEs, HRBPs, HRIS, and project teams to facilitate working sessions, validate requirements, and close actions. Governance, Metrics, and Reporting. Track process measures and project outcomes; support governance, audit, privacy, access-control, and compliance requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Information systems or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR Operations, Process Excellence, Content Management, Process Improvement, Operational Excellence, Business Analysis, Project Coordination, or related fields
- Hands-on experience in process mapping, documentation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder facilitation.
- Exposure to ServiceNow HRSD, Workday, case management, knowledge management, or HR transformation is preferred.
- KNOWLEDGE Understanding of Six Sigma methodology.
- Experience using Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, ServiceNow, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Experience supporting HR transformation, employee experience, or process standardization initiatives.
- COMPETENCIES High attention to detail and ability to follow templates, standards, and governance requirements consistently.
- Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders into structured content.
- Comfort coordinating follow-ups, tracking status, and managing a high volume of content updates.
- Sound judgment when handling sensitive information and employee-facing guidance.
- A team player. Able to work well with others.
- Diligent and able to handle tasks under pressure.
- Quick learner, particularly in following processes and using HR Systems and tools
