Head - Operations

This position Manages a section of Senior / Engineers and Senior / Engineering Assistants to oversee daily production attainment, safety and operations excellence across modules. The incumbent will also manage environment, Health & Safety and Facilities related matters in the plant.

Roles & Responsibility:

- Plant wide manufacturing expense controller
- Work with respective (Process/Test/Quality) stakeholders to drive down plant scrap within budget
- Work with respective (Process/Test/Quality) stakeholders to plant FTQ targets
- Plant Wide KPI consolidation
- . Support new launch engineering builds
- Plant Wide CAPEX controller
- Lead plant wide cost savings initiatives
- Plant Capacity /Layout Forecast Planning across all modules((Viper/ECU/Inverter/CSP/Pressure Sensors)
- Plant OE consolidation/improvement
- New project /business quote CCET/CAPEX /conversion cost study
- New project MSD setup with core teams
- Office relay out & seats allocation for new joiner
- New program/ packaging change development/evaluation
- New project packaging conversion cost study
- Drive packaging cost reduction & improvement activities
- Coordinate validation parts and packaging material for packaging validation tests

EHS/Facilities

- Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
- Actively engage employees from multiple levels and functions in committee
- Develop and retain documentation of health and safety procedures and performance
- Integrate effective health and safety training in the job training of all employees
- Increase safe behaviors through observation, data gathering, feedback and planning
- Identify best practices and implement continual improvement
- Measure and periodically audit health and safety performance so appropriate improvements can be made
- Develop and retain documentation of Energy Management procedures and performance
- Assessment and Setup of facilities for ME & SDEC equipment within target deadline
- Analyze facilities supply (N2, Energy, Compressed Air, etc) and make suitable suggestion to reduce cost
- Intermediary between landlord and BWSG on equipment setup, facilities issue and OPEX
- Review & provide advise on facilities set up requirement prior to execution
- Intermediary between BWSG and global team for facilities and sustainability issue
- Provide immediate action when equipment experience downtime due to facilities supply

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum Qualifications)

- Degree in Engineering
- Min 15 years of experience in Engineering preferred

Demonstrated track record in people management
