Responsibilities

·       Lead global logistics and transportation initiatives focused on cost reduction, operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and service improvements.

·       Implement and optimize end-to-end transportation networks across domestic and international operations.

·       Manage cross-border transportation activities, customs brokerage processes, and trade compliance requirements.

·       Oversee relationships and performance of 3PL and 4PL providers, including KPI management and service reviews.

·       Drive transportation cost optimization initiatives and duty mitigation strategies.

·       Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements across logistics operations.

·       Collaborate with Global Trade Compliance, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to improve logistics processes and controls.

·       Analyze logistics workflows, conduct root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions.

·       Develop and maintain best practices for warehousing, material flow, shipping, receiving, labeling, and packaging.

·       Maintain shipment visibility and transportation tracking systems to support operational excellence.

·       Generate and analyze logistics performance reports, including transportation costs, carrier performance, service levels, and lead times.

·       Lead logistics-related projects involving compliance, audits, carrier management, transportation systems, claims management, and process documentation.

·       Ensure effective freight payment and audit processes.

·       Leverage automation, artificial intelligence, and digital technologies to improve logistics performance and productivity.

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Information Technology, Customs Brokerage, Business Administration, or a related field.

·       Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, global trade, supply chain, or a related field.

·       Experience managing domestic and international transportation operations.

·       Strong knowledge of customs regulations, import/export processes, duties, and trade compliance requirements.

·       Experience managing 3PL and 4PL service providers.

·       Proven experience in process improvement, operational excellence, and project management.

·       Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·       Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), freight audit and payment solutions, and logistics reporting tools.

·       Ability to develop and execute tactical and strategic plans aligned with business objectives.

·       Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

·       Experience working with data analytics and reporting tools.

·       Proficiency with Excel and business intelligence tools.

·  Fluency in English is required; Czech, German, or French language skills are considered an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience in freight forwarding or customs brokerage.

·       Knowledge of hazardous materials transportation and CTPAT requirements.

·       Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, artificial intelligence, and automation tools.

·       Experience implementing transportation management systems, ERP modules, or logistics technology platforms.

·       Customs Broker License or equivalent trade compliance certification.

·       Knowledge of EU VAT requirements related to transportation activities.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
