Joseph Gallagher Ltd is one of the UK's leading civil engineering and tunnelling contractors, delivering major infrastructure projects nationwide. Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced ADT (Articulated Dump Truck) Driver to join our team on a long-term infrastructure project in the North East.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Articulated Dump Trucks safely and efficiently.
- Transport materials around site in accordance with site traffic management plans.
- Conduct daily machine inspections and report any defects.
- Work closely with site management and plant operations teams.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Assist with general earthworks activities where required.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with company procedures and industry best practice.
Requirements
- Valid CPCS /NPORS ADT qualification.
- Previous experience operating ADTs on civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure or earthworks projects.
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience working on large-scale civil engineering or utility projects.
- Additional plant tickets.
- EUSR, CSCS or Safety Critical Medical.
