We are looking for a Clinical Engagement Representative to join our amazing team.

Role Overview:

The Clinical Engagement Representative is the face of Quro Medical to general practitioners and their practice teams in the assigned region. The role builds trusted, long-term professional relationships with doctors, helps them understand when Hospital-at-Home is clinically appropriate for their patients, and makes the referral process simple and reliable. This is a non-clinical, relationship-focused role that relies heavily on clinical credibility: you will speak the language of healthcare professionals and understand the realities of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain professional relationships with general practitioners, practice managers and nursing staff across an assigned group of practices.

- Educate doctors and practice teams on the Hospital-at-Home model, admission criteria, patient pathways and clinical governance.

- Support practices with the referral process and act as the first point of contact for queries, feedback and service issues.

- Plan and execute a structured practice visit schedule, and record engagement activity accurately in the relevant systems.

- Gather practitioner feedback and market insight and relay it to the operations and clinical teams.

- Represent Quro Medical at practice meetings, continuing professional development events and regional forums.

- Conduct all engagement in line with the ethical rules of the statutory health councils and Quro Medical's compliance policies.

Who are we looking for:

We welcome applicants from a range of healthcare professional backgrounds. You will have a qualification in one of the following fields, or a comparable health science qualification:

- Nursing: registered nurses and professional nurses

- Allied and rehabilitation health: physiotherapists, occupational therapists, biokineticists, dietitians and speech-language therapists

- Emergency care: emergency care practitioners and paramedics

- Clinical associates: clinical associates

- Health sciences: graduates in health sciences with experience in medical or pharmaceutical representation

Requirements:

- A relevant qualification in one of the healthcare fields listed above.

- At least three years' experience in a clinical, healthcare or medical representative environment.

- A demonstrable ability to build credible relationships with doctors and healthcare teams.

- A valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle, with willingness to travel extensively within the region.

- Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently.

- Computer literacy, including Microsoft 365 and CRM or activity-tracking tools.

- Current or previous registration with the SANC or HPCSA, and experience in primary care, acute care or hospital environments, will be advantageous.
