About this role
Vilofoss, part of DLG Group, is looking for an experienced Global Quality Manager to lead quality, feed safety and regulatory compliance across our international Animal Nutrition business. Based in Fredericia, Denmark, you will combine a visible, hands-on role in Denmark with leadership of seven quality professionals across six European countries, 12 production sites and external manufacturing partners.
Your main assignment is to bring locally organized quality activities together in one global function. You will establish shared governance, standards, systems and reporting while ensuring that essential local activities remain close to our sites and authorities.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and develop an international team of seven quality professionals across multiple locations.
- Establish the global quality operating model and harmonize the Quality Management System, procedures, KPIs and reporting across Vilofoss.
- Drive feed safety, compliance and continuous improvement across production sites, suppliers and external manufacturing partners.
- Act as the primary contact with Danish authorities and coordinate regulatory requirements across countries, balancing common European standards with local obligations.
- Lead audits, certifications and corrective and preventive actions, including HACCP, GMP+, QS, VLOG and organic standards as examples.
- Partner with Operations, Innovation, Procurement and Supply Chain on product registrations, supplier and raw-material approval, specifications, technical documentation and market compliance.
- Align closely with DLG quality department on quality management systems and common procedures.
What you bring
- Significant senior quality experience from animal nutrition, feed, premix, feed additives, food ingredients or another regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proven international people leadership and experience aligning specialist teams through organizational change.
- Strong knowledge of feed legislation, Quality Management Systems, HACCP, audits and relevant certification schemes.
- Experience working directly with regulatory authorities and translating complex requirements into practical standards for operations.
- Sound judgement and the authority to challenge decisions, hold firm on non-negotiable requirements and act when product safety, compliance or licence to operate is at risk.
- A relevant degree in Animal Nutrition, Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering or a related field, plus fluency in Danish and English. German is an advantage.

Practical Information
The role is based in Fredericia, Denmark, and requires regular on-site collaboration with Danish operations and authorities. Expect approximately 10–15% travel within Europe.
