Job Description Summary:
The Director, Finance Business Partner serves as the lead finance partner for one of Option Care Health's business units. Working directly with the Business Unit President/General Manager and leadership team, this role is responsible for providing financial leadership, decision support, and performance management across the business.
The Director serves as a strategic advisor to business leadership, partnering closely across commercial, operations, procurement, market access, commercial analytics, and other cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth and financial performance. The role is responsible for planning, forecasting, reporting, financial modeling, and business case development across the full financial profile of the business, including revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and contribution margin.
This position combines financial expertise, business partnership, strategic thinking, and operational execution to support growth initiatives, evaluate investment opportunities, identify risks and opportunities, and improve financial performance. The successful candidate will possess strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to influence decision-making in a highly collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Finance Business Partnership
- Serve as the primary finance advisor and business partner to the Business Unit President/General Manager and leadership team.
- Partner with business leadership to drive profitable growth, operational performance, and achievement of strategic objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations that support pricing, growth initiatives, resource allocation, and business investments.
- Translate business strategies and operating plans into actionable financial plans and performance metrics.
- Influence decision-making through fact-based analysis, financial rigor, and strategic thinking.
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead development of annual operating plans, quarterly forecasts, long-range planning activities, and monthly outlooks for the business unit.
- Build and maintain financial forecasts covering revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, and profitability.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities and risks and incorporate changing assumptions into financial plans.
- Develop scenario analyses and sensitivity models to evaluate alternative business strategies and outcomes.
Performance Management & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze business performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
- Deliver monthly business reviews, KPI reporting, variance analyses, and management reporting packages.
- Identify key business drivers and provide actionable recommendations to improve performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics that support executive decision-making.
- Communicate financial results, trends, risks, and opportunities to business leadership and finance leadership.
Financial Analysis & Decision Support
- Develop financial models and business cases supporting investments, new program launches, pricing initiatives, contracting opportunities, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Support evaluation of market opportunities, product and therapy performance, customer economics, and resource deployment decisions.
- Partner with commercial analytics, market access, procurement, and operations teams to evaluate business performance and identify value creation opportunities.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and executive-level decision support as needed.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Market Access, Commercial Analytics, Accounting, and Enterprise FP&A teams.
- Ensure alignment between business strategies, operational plans, and financial objectives.
- Support implementation and management of cross-functional initiatives and special projects.
- Drive accountability for achievement of financial commitments across the business.
Process Improvement & Organizational Effectiveness
- Identify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting efficiency, and business planning processes.
- Enhance financial tools, models, reporting, and analytical capabilities to better support decision-making.
- Establish efficient planning rhythms and governance processes with business stakeholders.
- Promote financial discipline and data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct management responsibility for finance team members supporting the business unit.
- Responsible for coaching, development, performance management, and talent development activities for direct reports.
- Team structure and span of control to be determined based on business unit scope.
Basic Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, commercial finance, or business performance management.
- 5+ years supporting senior business leaders in a finance business partner capacity.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience.
- Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance management activities.
- Demonstrated success influencing business decisions and driving operational and financial results.
Basic Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial statements and key business performance drivers.
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect operational performance to financial outcomes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

- Ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning systems.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $142,327.53-$237,190.02
