Mill Operator/Receiving

Hours are estimated to be 6:30 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

Position Overview : Receiving Operator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and unloading incoming ingredients and materials used in feed production. This position ensures accurate documentation, maintains product quality standards, and supports safe and efficient mill operations.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Receive and unload grain, ingredients, and other incoming materials.
- Inspect deliveries for quality, contamination, and compliance with company standards.
- Operate receiving equipment, conveyors, and related machinery safely.
- Collect samples and perform basic quality checks as required.
- Maintain accurate receiving records, inventory transactions, and paperwork.
- Monitor storage bins and ingredient levels to ensure proper placement and tracking.
- Keep receiving areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications :

- Computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Have an understanding of safe working conditions and operations of vehicles.
- Be willing and able to work well with others, to take and give constructive criticism, and to lend a helping hand.
- Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making.
- Mechanical interest and aptitude are beneficial.
- Driven, organized, and punctual.
- Must be team oriented.
- Possess great attention to detail.

Educations and Experience :

- High School Diploma.
- Agriculture background a plus.
