About this role

The B2B Lead, Corporate will be responsible for leading a team of Corporate Account Managers tasked with proactively selling too medium to large-sized corporate customers, building on both vehicle and energy product sales. You will be responsible for leading the team (working across regions in the UK), training, coaching and developing their skills, expertise and driving high sales performance with these clients. The B2B Lead, Corporate will also build relationships and educate stores and ASM’s across the UK, connecting on training and sales support needs, organizing local business engagement with these medium to large-sized corporate customers via the Corporate Account Manager team, and driving B2B knowledge and sales performance. The B2B Lead, Corporate will report to the B2B & Certified Pre-Owned Lead in the UK and will closely collaborate with other teams, including local operations, delivery, energy, charging and HQ business sales leadership to consistently drive new and repeat business.

Medium to Large-Sized Corporate Clients

- Meet all sales objectives to drive Tesla’s mission, including but not limited to: driving new account creation, solidifying orders, scheduling sales meetings, maintaining regular and proactive outbound contact, and hosting test drives for prospective clients.
- Train, coach and continue to develop their direct reports in all aspects of sales and operational performance with medium to large-sized corporate clients.
- Own the relationship for corporate clients, not only educating them about our company, our vehicle offerings and our energy offering but also ensuring a great customer journey and ownership experience throughout.
- Open company car policies and become the preferred EV OEM for corporate clients.
- Drive our customers’ success by acting as a facilitator to meet their needs.
- Establish and manage all contractual agreements with customers where applicable.
- To driver corporate retention in the B2B space, to continue to put Tesla at the forefront of their fleet decisions and to grow out the philosophy of becoming easy for a corporate to do business with us.
- Drive corporate and fleet satisfaction with Tesla product and ordering process. To continuously build and develop based on their feedback and hosting forums to get this feedback more consistently and freely.
- To bring Tesla fleet customer facing tools to the forefront and provide education to corporates and fleet operators on the enhancements and time saving nature of their implementation. These tools included but are not limited to, Fleet API, Tesla for Business, Electric Parts Catalogue, Driver App Access and so on.
- To be aware of the market and the external B2B fleet influences for purchasing changes, blockers or opportunities to help guide and develop our strategic thinking and approach.

General Duties

- Actively partner with the Market Lead/the B2B & Certified Pre-Owned Lead to develop a cohesive strategy for the growth of Business-to-Business sales within the Medium to Large- sized corporates.
- Manage your part in the overall business plan by working with other departments. Facilitate partner meetings regularly and effectively.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all vehicles, processes and business finance solutions. Conduct competitor analysis and fleet pricing benchmarking on a regular basis.
- Use Tesla’s internal tools to manage you and your team’s pipeline, including but not limited to logging appointments, calls, test drives, contacts, agreements, events, Ride & Drives and meeting notes.
- Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to reduce operational friction.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional sales experience.
- Leadership experience in a sales or customer services-based business.
- Have experience in Business-to-Business or commercial sales with proven track record to meet and exceed targets and goals.
- Self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail.
- Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines.
- Passionate dedication and ethical approach to sales management and operations.
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a well-respected, trusted partner that others want to work with.
- Strong team-player, driven and passionate about Tesla’s mission.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Solid knowledge of business appropriate financial options and incentives.
- Fluency in English required.
- Driving license.
