Job Description: Catalogue Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Ecommerce Product Data Analyst to support and optimization of product data across various online marketplaces and ecommerce platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for curating, analyzing, enriching, and maintaining high-quality product content to enhance customer experience, improve search visibility, and drive conversions.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit and analyze existing product listings for accuracy, completeness, and SEO effectiveness.
Source product data (titles, descriptions, images, specifications) from manufacturers, suppliers, and authorized third-party sources.
Standardize product content across categories, ensuring consistency in formatting, tone, and compliance with brand guidelines.
Collaborate with category managers, SEO specialists, and creative teams to optimize metadata, image tags, and cross-sell/upsell strategies.
Identify opportunities for automation in content upload and enrichment processes.
Assist in maintaining digital asset libraries (images, PDFs, videos) and linking them appropriately to SKUs.
Ensure all data meets platform-specific listing guidelines and is free from language, spelling, or formatting errors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Ecommerce, Information Systems, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in ecommerce, data management, or catalog creation.
Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (including formulas, data cleaning, and formatting).
Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento) and PIM systems (e.g., Akeneo) is a plus.
Basic understanding of SEO principles for product content.
High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
