About this role
General Summary
Will provide a high level of specialized and skilled oversight and support for the facility team. The task at hand could include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry, electronics, or project management. The incumbent will possess an in-depth and fully comprehensive understanding for the design, installation, or maintenance of such given trade. The position may be assigned to work along with and/or monitor a technician or team to accomplish a given task or assignment. It will also require a hands-on approach in providing advanced maintenance, repair and/or testing. Leadership is essential as the person leads by example in performing in accordance with operational and safety policies. This position may be used system wide for supervision of contractors, vendors, and WellSpan Facility team members. Will be looked to train and educate WellSpan staff. Healthcare experience preferred.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Certificate Program Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training Preferred
Work Experience:
- 5 years Related experience Required and
- Supervisory experience Preferred
Courses and Training:
- Advanced certification or designation in specialty trade. Upon Hire Preferred and
- Trade school apprenticeship program (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.) Upon Hire Preferred and
- Advanced training documentation within given trade. Upon Hire Preferred
