Working Student/Intern in Global P&C Pricing at Allianz SE (m/f/d)

Who will you be joining?

You will be joining the Global P&C Pricing team at Allianz SE, which drives actuarial excellence and innovation across the Allianz Group's retail, fleet and SME P&C business. Our team develops best-practice pricing methodologies, supports strategic initiatives, and fosters knowledge exchange across markets. As part of our Research & Development activities, we explore state-of-the-art approaches in data science, machine learning, and actuarial modeling to shape the future of pricing across the Group.

How can you make an impact?

- Support the development of new best-practice approaches in actuarial pricing, leveraging modern methods from machine learning, statistics, and data science
- Conduct research and prototyping of innovative pricing methodologies and tools that can be rolled out across Allianz Group entities
- Contribute to strategic R&D projects aimed at advancing the pricing framework and technical excellence across markets
- Help create documentation, knowledge-sharing materials, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders across the Group
- Collaborate, share, and present findings from projects within Global P&C and with the wider pricing community

What are you made of?

- Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or a comparable quantitative field, with strong academic performance
- Good programming skills in Python; experience with data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy) is a plus
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with a quick grasp of complex topics
- Interest in insurance and actuarial topics; previous insurance knowledge or experience is a plus
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- You are enrolled at a university during the contract period
- Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT
