Role Summary/Purpose:

As a Front-End Engineer, you’ll work hand in hand with our User Experience team to create eye popping, user-friendly, super intuitive online applications. You’ll participate in hack-a-thons, partner with universities on innovation events, work with our famed Stamford Innovation Station—you’ll bring us ideas about how to do things differently. You’ll be defining what Software Engineering means here—and how it can affect the entire industry.

You are the right candidate if you...

- Are AI-fluent: Do you use AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) as a regular part of your development workflow, not just for autocomplete but for debugging, test generation, and refactoring?
- Have judgment: Can you evaluate AI-generated code critically instead of accepting it at face value — spotting hallucinated APIs, subtle logic errors, or security gaps?
- Learn quickly and adapt: Are you comfortable exploring new AI-native tools, prompt patterns, and agentic workflows as they evolve?
- Think about efficiency: Do you look for opportunities to use AI to speed up repetitive tasks (boilerplate, tests, documentation) while knowing when not to use it?
- Have built with AI: Have you created a custom AI skill or agent (e.g., a reusable prompt/instruction set, a small automation script, or an agentic workflow) to solve a real problem in your own work, and do you understand the difference between a deterministic skill and an autonomous multi-step agent?

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop UI features using modern web technologies

- Writing reusable, testable and efficient code

- Collaborate with UX design and backend teams to implement and maintain the features

- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Review and validate AI-generated code with the same rigor as hand-written code before submitting for peer review — checking correctness, security, and adherence to team patterns.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- 4+ years of experience to Build amazing web applications using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JS and more

- Work with a cross-shore development team

- Influence and collaborate to create an amazing online experience

- Participate in agile sprints with cross-functional teams including planning, daily standups, backlog grooming sessions and reviews

- Analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, and implement fixes

- Work with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into our products

- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
- Hands-on cypress e2e
- Hands-on, sustained experience using at least one AI coding assistant (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or equivalent) in real project work — not just casual/trial use .

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

- Experience building responsive web applications using ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Experience working on an agile development team

- Experience with building React component libraries and dependency management tools like NPM

- Experience with continuous integration environments like Jenkins

- Experience building and deploying applications

- Experience with unit testing frameworks, UI test cases in a Test-driven development (TDD) environment

- Working knowledge of implementing Accessibility (ADA) and Analytics requirements

- Working Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture.
- Familiarity with AI-native concepts at a working level — RAG patterns, vector databases, MCP (Model Context Protocol).

Eligibility Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related degree and a minimum of 2 to 4 years of web application development experience OR, in lieu of degree 4 years of professional web application development experience

Work Timings:   2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST
