Job Description
Pursue state-of-the-art repair quality and performance, always looking for optimization of the workforce, cost reductions, quality focus, and processes that support transparency to internal and external customers, guarantee high standards repairs for the patients.
Job Duties
Repair Operations
- Manage repair leaders to follow the Olympus Global Guidelines and Performance required for each equipment, align with Service Business Strategy.
- Lead the repair team to create the right engagement pursuing better performance and lower turnover.
- Prepare a capacity plan and follow up with the HR and General Manager to avoid disruptions or unalignment between repair demand and capacity.
- Prepare Budget for Repair site including all needs to keep the service level agreement signed in the service contracts.
- Support Customer Service in the repair quotes giving details and transparency about repair root cause and other information need it.
- Manage the Skill Map and Support repair supervisor with repair training planning to guarantee the right skill for each activity.
- Manage the Service Bulletins, technical updates, FCAs with the repair team.
Vendors and Suppliers
- Support procurement on the validations of new vendors.
- Support repair supervisor on monitoring Jigs and Tools sent out for repair/calibration.
Inventory Management
- Support Operations on parts planning and to create procedures to keep the parts availability fulfillment with the global and regional targets.
- Support repair supervisor to keep the right stock and availability for consumable items and chemicals.
Distributors Repair Operations (If applicable)
- Manage the repair distributors, giving guides and performing reviews to keep the levels required by Global Olympus Guidelines.
- Lead and deploy projects to improve their quality, performance and growth business.
- Support to deploy new service distributors in the region.
- Manage the repair issues been the interface with Olympus global and San Jose.
- Manage the Skill Map and support technical service specialists and trainers with repair training planning for distributors to guarantee the right skill for each activity.
Job Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Producting Engineering is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years related work experience.
- English – good level writing and speaking
- Spanish – native level writing and speaking
- Office 365 tools – good level as user
Preferred:
- MBA in industrial / production management.
- 5 years of experience in medical device field.
