The Opportunity
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our 24/7 Crisis Respite Unit at Baltimore Crisis Response, Inc. In this role, youll provide direct nursing care and support to adults experiencing mental health and addiction crises. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, youll monitor client health, administer medications, document care, and respond to clinical changes to ensure safety and stability.
This position offers the chance to make a real impact—combining hands-on nursing care with patient education and wellness support. Youll play an essential role in promoting recovery, coordinating with medical providers, and helping individuals take the next step toward stability and healing in the Baltimore community.

What Youll Do
- Monitor client health: vitals, blood sugars, wound care, and clinical changes.
- Administer medications, including PRN, Methadone, and Suboxone.
- Document care in EMR; report changes to on-call providers.
- Provide patient education and facilitate wellness groups.
- Respond to medical emergencies on the unit.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Maryland LPN or RN license (required).
- 5+ years experience in addiction treatment or co-occurring disorders.
- Strong teamwork, documentation, and crisis intervention skills.
