Technical Support Analyst, Contract-Remote, Laval, Quebec, Canada

We have existing opportunities to add Technical Support Analysts to our team! These are contract positions that can be situated remotely in Laval, Quebec.

Role Summary

The main purpose of this role is to help end users migrate over to a new domain but also help maintain company computer software and hardware. Applicants should work well in a fast-paced environment and have proven organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

- Process support requests; maintaining accountability and ownership of incident until resolved
- Install, configure, and maintain computer workstations and servers within a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Install, configure and maintain peripherals and network hardware.
- Document configurations and operating standards and practices.
- Implement and monitor security policies.
- Perform data backup and recovery.
- Perform hardware and software upgrades as required.
- Configure and troubleshoot corporate email (Exchange)
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
- Participate in small to medium complexity infrastructure/software projects which may involve multiple team members
- Communicate project progress to IT stakeholders
- Identify project risks, escalate issues to management, and assist with mitigation steps as required
- Miscellaneous - other duties as required

Requirements

- Minimum grade 12 education, with preference given to individuals with post-secondary IT diploma/degree.
- 0-2 years of related industry experience
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows 11
- Active Directory user and group administration
- Experience troubleshooting computer hardware
- Experience with email administration (Exchange, O365) an asset
- Experience with VPN software an asset
- BIlingualism is required (fluency in French and English)
