Lead streamlined operations for supplier governance and turn third-party performance metrics and reporting into executive-level insights on business risk. As a Vice President in Third-Party Governance supporting Consumer and Community Banking and International Consumer Banking (ICB), you will strengthen operations and drive proactive risk insights across the organization. You will lead program management for a portfolio of reporting frameworks, prioritize stakeholder outreach, and provide clear executive reporting on supplier assessments, risks and decisions.
Job responsibilities
- Lead program governance for a portfolio of continuous-improvement initiatives by establishing integrated plans, milestones, dependencies, governance routines and performance measures that drive accountability, timely decisions and measurable outcomes.
- Drive operational excellence into day-to-day processes and reporting frameworks.
- Deliver concise executive status reporting that highlights progress, outcomes, emerging concerns, trade-offs and required actions.
- Identify, assess, escalate and monitor relevant third-party risk signals, and translate resulting insights into prioritization decisions and opportunities to strengthen the third-party risk framework.
- Mature event and incident management practices that clarify roles, escalation paths, communications and follow-up actions, while capturing lessons learned and recommending practical process, data and tooling enhancements.
- Partner with business, risk, controls, operations, technology and subject-matter experts to align priorities and resolve cross-functional dependencies.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, risk management, controls, governance, operations or change management.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders, dependencies and executive-level visibility, while managing competing priorities, exercising sound judgment and maintaining delivery momentum.
- Working knowledge of risk and control principles, including issue identification, escalation, remediation and sustainable process design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing governance routines, status reporting, decision materials and executive communications that influence stakeholders, facilitate decisions and provide clarity to senior leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information and translate ambiguous or evolving risk and business needs into clear priorities, processes, roles and actionable deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships across business, risk, controls, operations and technology teams.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with third-party risk management, supplier governance, operational risk, resiliency or event and incident management.
- Experience designing or maturing emerging-risk sensing, assessment, monitoring or reporting practices.
- Experience supporting transformation portfolios, operating-model design or enterprise change initiatives.
- Familiarity with workflow, reporting, analytics or automation tools used to improve governance and management insight.
