The Manager of Clinical Education is responsible for the administration and management of Patient Care Services (Nursing, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Pharmacy) orientation, computerized education tracking, electronic learning management system, audiovisual and classroom services, and continuing education programs. The Manager of Clinical Education is also responsible for overseeing the patient education effort for the organization.
Minimum Required:
- Masters degree from an accredited school of nursing in Nursing, Education, or related field required.
- Two to five years of experience relevant to patient /staff education.
- Certification in Staff Development/Continuing Education preferred.
- Must have a current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Ohio.
- BLS Certification is required.
Preferred:
- Membership in professional organizations is desirable.
- Certification in area of specialty is desirable.
