Project Coordinator – Quality & Manufacturing

Pay: $20.00–$24.00/hour
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Job Summary

We are hiring a Project Coordinator to support quality containment, inspection, mechanical rework, and manufacturing projects. This is a hands-on coordination role for an experienced quality or manufacturing professional who can help oversee daily operations, coordinate small teams, maintain quality standards, and support new project launches.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of quality, containment, or quality leadership experience , strong mechanical aptitude, and experience using precision measuring equipment. This position requires someone who is comfortable working on the manufacturing floor, troubleshooting quality issues, communicating with customers and production teams, and keeping projects organized and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily quality containment, inspection, and rework activities
- Oversee and support small teams to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Perform mechanical rework and ensure work meets customer and quality specifications
- Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring equipment
- Identify quality issues and assist with troubleshooting and corrective actions
- Communicate with customers, supervisors, inspectors, and production personnel
- Maintain accurate inspection results, project records, reports, and documentation
- Monitor project progress and ensure customer requirements are met
- Assist with new project and site launches, including setup, training, and process validation
- Support process improvements to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency
- Read and follow technical specifications, drawings, work instructions, and quality requirements
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
- Travel to other sites or project locations as needed
- Perform other duties related to quality, containment, inspection, and project coordination

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in quality, containment, quality supervision, or quality leadership
- Manufacturing experience required
- Mechanical rework experience required
- Experience coordinating quality, containment, inspection, or production activities
- Experience leading or supporting small teams
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience performing dimensional inspections
- Ability to use precision measuring tools, including: Calipers
- Micrometers
- Pin gauges
- Height gauges

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to read and follow technical specifications and work instructions
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying schedules based on project needs
- Ability to travel to other work sites as required
