Information about the position

As Legal Counsel, you’ll support Vinted Pay’s licensed entities in the UK, Luxembourg, and Lithuania, alongside Vinted Marketplace teams on payment-related matters. You’ll ensure compliance with payments regulations, consumer protection laws, and internal governance while supporting key product initiatives and PSP relationships.

Working within the Vinted Legal team, you’ll collaborate with Compliance, Product, Engineering, and local entity leadership. You'll manage end-to-end responsibilities - including contract negotiations, user terms, product flows, and regulatory monitoring - in a fast-paced environment that demands sharp prioritization and clear communication.

In this position, you’ll

- Provide day-to-day legal support to Vinted Pay's licensed entities and local teams in Lithuania, Luxembourg, and the UK, while aligning with Vinted Marketplace on payment-related legal matters

- Advise Product and Engineering teams on new features and launches, delivering practical legal assessments, risk analyses, and regulatory guidance

- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, and translate partner requirements into actionable product and process updates

- Draft and maintain user terms, legal documentation, and localized legal wording within user flows

- Monitor regulatory developments, translate them into business actions, and own end-to-end legal projects and product initiatives

- Partner with global Legal and Compliance colleagues to maintain a consistent approach across all entities, products, and jurisdictions

About you

- Very strong legal background in payments/fintech (EMI, PSP), marketplace, or in a law firm advising regulated financial services businesses

- Experience with regulated payments. Experience with marketplace payments is a strong plus

- Able to prioritise well and manage many workstreams at once

- Comfortable working with many different stakeholders across teams, entities and countries

- Pragmatic and commercially minded

- Confident working in a fast-paced, scaling, international environment

Workation policy

Better balance holidays with workdays by working remotely! Up to 90 days per year in the EU, of these, 21 days can be spent globally. For non-EU citizens, it's 21 days worldwide. This can be combined with time off for vacation or personal time.

Individual learning budget

Each year, you’ll be given a learning budget (starting at €3,000), and a total of up to 10 working days over a 2-year period to support your personal and professional development.
