General Laborer – 3rd Shift
We are hiring a General Laborer to join a manufacturing facility in Battle Creek, MI. This is a hands-on position that supports production operations, facility cleanliness, material handling, and general plant upkeep.
The ideal candidate is reliable, willing to learn, and flexible with their job responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical, active work and is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Location: Battle Creek, MI
Pay: $21.55 per hour
Shift: 3rd Shift, Monday–Friday, 9:45 PM–6:00 AM
Overtime: Available
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities
- Assist the Prepress department with purging confidential files and materials
- Perform general cleanup and facility upkeep
- Sweep, paint, and maintain designated work areas
- Load material and waste bins onto semi-trucks
- Move and handle materials throughout the facility
- Lift 25+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team members
- Multitask and adjust to changing priorities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Willingness to learn new tasks and procedures
- Flexible and willing to assist in different areas as needed
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to safety
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to repeatedly lift 25+ pounds
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general labor experience is helpful but not required
