Warehouse Lead

The Warehouse Lead oversee daily operations of all drivers and warehouse personnel and work with the team to ensure receiving and shipping procedures are followed.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of all drivers and warehouse personnel

- Work with the team to ensure receiving and shipping procedures are followed

- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse.

- Communicate with purchasing department regularly regarding POs, timelines, etc.

- Coordinate and organize with the leadership team on overall warehouse functionality and efficiency

- Maintain UPS small package station

- Work with Counter and Hearth/Garage Door personnel for maintaining an efficient warehouse

- Other duties as determined by leadership

Responsibilities with employees

- Timekeeping management

- Delegate and train warehouse on procedures, material handling and scanning responsibilities

- Develop goals and skills to improve performance of employees

- Follow up with team members on progress

- Lead and train drivers

- Assist with vehicle readiness, maintenance, repairs, route scheduling for drivers and ODT

- Enforce all company-wide policies and procedures

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

- Experience in warehouse operations

- Management experience, Leading workers on an assigned shift

- Experience with RF Scanners and Warehouse management Systems

- Experience and knowledge with DOT Regulations

- Computer proficiency
