The Opportunity
As the Finance Assistant – Accounts Payable , the Finance Assistant - Accounts Payable is primarily tasked for the following: (1) accounts payable processing, (2) intercompany balances (ICB) monitoring, (3) collating of hard copies of AP package for filing, (4) reconciling accounts with suppliers, (5) accruals, reversals, and other monthly adjustments, and (6) reporting to regulatory agencies such as Central Bank of the Philippines and Philippine Statistics Office. The Finance Assistant - Accounts Payable will also be assigned with ad hoc tasks, and other relevant internal and external reporting necessary for the performance of the job.
What You’ll Do
- Accounts payable processing
- ICB monitoring
- Collating of hard copies of AP package for filing
- Reconciling accounts with suppliers
- Petty cash management
- Prepare accounts schedules
- Accruals, reversals, and other monthly adjustments
- Reporting to regulatory agencies such as Central Bank of the Philippines and Philippine Statistics Office
Requirements
- Well versed with the BPCS system or other accounting systems
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- Has experience in the review of financial reporting
- Assigned in majority of the job specifications above
- At least 3 years work experience
- Expertise in preparing and analyzing various reports
- Keen to details, able to work in a team environment, good organizational skills, and has a multi-tasking ability
- Strong communication skills
- Project management skills
- Commitment to meet deadlines and accept additional responsibilities based on the exigencies of the job
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate and other related courses
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus/advantage
