Job Description

We're looking for an entry-level Bilingual Residential Energy Auditor based in Wenatchee, WA, to join our field team. In this role, you'll act as a local, on-site program representative, conducting energy efficiency audits (with a focus on HVAC systems), providing customized recommendations, educating clients on energy savings, and verifying installations for income-qualified customers in the Chelan PUD territory. You'll also serve as the liaison between customers and contractors, walking through the scope of work with contractors and making sure everyone's questions are answered along the way.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well, and is passionate about sustainability. This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring travel and basic tool use; no prior experience is necessary, as on-the-job training is provided. Monday-Friday schedule with physical activity across various field sites.

The job responsibilities include the following:

- Act as a local, on-site program and company representative to build trust with customers while partnering with contractors to drive program participation
- Travel throughout Chelan PUD territory, up to 70% of the time
- Perform data entry, develop detailed home energy assessment reports, and create a scope of work for each home with installation recommendations, with particular attention to HVAC systems
- Support contractor walkthroughs and bidding by providing assessment reports that reflect audit findings
- Conduct post-installation inspections for quality and adherence to program compliance
- Support customer and contractor communications via email and phone for follow-ups and next steps when not in the field
- Assist with other administrative program tasks when not in the field

For this exciting career opportunity, we are looking for a candidate that:

- Valid driver's license, with the ability to operate a personal or company-provided vehicle throughout the Chelan PUD territory
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- BPI certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification
- Basic understanding of residential energy efficiency, home construction, HVAC, or a related trade, or willingness to learn
- Background in customer service, with sensitivity and compassion for working with underserved and vulnerable populations
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, tight areas, and at heights
- Experience with technology, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and database systems such as QuickBase
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check and drug screening prior to starting

DOT Requirements
