We are looking for an experienced IT Professional to join us in our Golden, Colorado office. Working with the international IT team, you will be involved in activities across all our offices, but you will be the person on the ground for any Golden based support issues.

The IT Administrator will focus most of their time on end user support and onboarding as well as working on other IT projects to build Loft. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and intrinsically knows how good IT enables a business. The ideal applicant will be someone with strong user support skills who is looking to level up their career.

About the Role:

- Track customer receipts and supplier payments against forecast, and flag timing risks early.

- Monitor daily cash positions across Loft’s bank accounts, legal entities and currencies.

- Prepare weekly cash reporting, including the weekly cash update to the founders and the 13-week cash forecast.

- Take progressive ownership of the 13-week cash forecast, keeping it current with actuals and inputs from Accounting, FP&A and program teams.

- Support, and progressively own, the analysis of cash burn, runway and cash scenarios (e.g. delayed collections, hiring or capex changes).

- Analyze forecast-to-actual cash variances and use the findings to improve forecast accuracy.

- Support annual and multi-year cash projections with FP&A.

- Work closely with Accounting and FP&A to ensure consistent methodologies and timely delivery of consolidated reporting.

- Build strong, trusted relationships across the company (programs, Opex owners, leadership) and help position Finance as a key business partner.

- Support the optimization and automation of cash management tools and processes, with increasing use of AI.

- Work with distributed teams across the US and France.

Must Haves:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Audit, or a related analytical role.

- High Excel proficiency.

- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with financial data.

- Curious, analytical mindset, with a willingness to understand the “why” behind the numbers.

- Proactive, with the ability to take initiative and propose improvements to processes and tools.

- Ability to deliver on time and work autonomously, sometimes under tight deadlines.

- Team player with a collaborative mindset, comfortable working across teams and time zones.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Haves:

- Hands-on experience with Claude is a plus.

- Industry background in a project-based or industrial environment (aerospace is a plus).

- Exposure to bank reconciliations, payment processing, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable.

- Experience with an ERP, NetSuite preferred.

- Experience supporting an international or multi-entity organization.

Loft Orbital builds “shareable” satellites, providing a fast & simple path to orbit for organizations that require access to space. Powered by our hardware & software products, we operate satellites, fly customer payloads onboard, and handle entire missions from end to end - significantly reducing the lead-time and risk of a traditional space mission.

Our standard interface enables us to fly multiple customer payloads on the same satellite, with capabilities such as earth imagery, weather & climate /science data collection, IoT connectivity, in-orbit demonstrations, and national security missions. State law requires us to tell you the base compensation range for this role, which is $105,000 - $125,000 per year, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.  The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we evaluate individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
