About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the On Trade Channel Finance team and develop hands-on commercial finance experience within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

As a Finance Analyst, you will report to the Hospitality Finance Manager and work closely with the Wholesale Finance Manager to support business performance through insightful reporting and analysis. You will play a key role in the delivery of monthly reporting helping finance and sales teams understand performance and drive informed decision-making.

You will contribute to the wider On Trade Finance agenda maintaining key reporting tools, improving financial processes and providing analytical support. The role offers broad exposure to commercial finance activities and provides an excellent platform for developing financial analysis, business partnering and stakeholder management skills.

This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in commercial finance while gaining exposure to senior finance and commercial stakeholders across the business.

Role Responsibilities:

- Work with the Hospitality and Wholesale Finance Managers to support the financial management of the sub channels, with ownership of Travel.

- Improving balance sheet control and transparency by ensuring financial rigor on accruals

- Monitor performance against Budget, Forecast and Prior Year, identifying risks and opportunities

- Produce regular performance reporting and analysis for Finance and Sales teams.

- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis to support commercial decision-making.

- Prepare accurate monthly forecasts and support annual budget cycles across Travel and the wider On Trade business.

- Partner with Sales teams to understand trading performance and inform forecast assumptions.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and forecasting tools.

- Own and maintain key Channel Finance reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery.

- Generate insights from financial systems and data to support performance management.

- Support reporting automation, process improvement and month-end close activities across the On Trade Finance team.

Experience and Key Attributes:

- Experience in a relevant finance role preferred.

- Strong numerical and analytical skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
