About this role

Position Summary:
Must adhere to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and other applicable laws and
regulations. Assist in maintaining good public relations with guest and employees. Comply with safety
and security standards of the corporation and complying with pre-determined internal control procedures.
Controls cash transactions throughout site with efficiency and accuracy.

Key Accountabilities:
• Responsible for customer service, exceeds expectations on providing great customer service
• Handles cash transactions, including foreign currency exchange
• Monitors and reports all discrepancies and suspicious cash activities
• Redeems chips and gaming tickets for cash
• Redeems cash for chip transactions
• Verifies and processes machines fills, table fills and credits
• Processes cash advance transactions
• Processes Sportsbook betting
• Pays out Jackpots to Slot Attendants
• Enters all AML transactions when reached at the threshold
• Checking I-Track if a customer is banned
• Issues floats to other departments and reconciles closing floats
• Transfers and stores floats, keys and record keeping documents
• Documents and reconcile transactions, including bank deposits
• Builds strong working relationships with guests and employees
• Follows all policy and procedures that are in place.
• Does NRT machine fills which includes, filling and dropping the machine with cash cassettes
and coins. This consists of physical work including pushing, pulling and lifting.
• Reconciling NRT machines
• Preparing and delivering money transfers
• Counting in and balancing the main bank
• Verifying the money in the bank and at the cashier windows
• Making coin bags and filling NRT cassettes with money
• Counting the slot buy and table buy money
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Qualification Requirements:
• Requires a high school diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience
and education.
• Requires experience in the related field of one (1) or more years.
• Possess organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills. Require strong
mathematical ability, work in a physically demanding area and be familiar with a high-volume
and fast paced environment. A strong knowledge of cash, foreign currency and other
settlement types is also required.
• Required Registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant through the AGCO.

Work Environment Considerations:
• Fast paced with multiple priorities, deadlines and deliverables; exposure to some conflict,
distress and noise;
• This role requires a flexible schedule that adapts to the business needs of a 24 hour operation;
will have non-traditional work hours including evening and weekend shifts.
