The Role
We are searching for a proactive, ambitious newly-qualified accountant to join our experienced finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that financial and operational excellence prevails across all aspects of the business while working on providing business insights to management.
This role is an ideal first move out of practice, offering broad commercial exposure, direct access to senior leadership and hands-on experience with MI and automation.
The position is based at the company’s head office in Belfield Office Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin with 4 days (Monday to Thursday) in the office and remote working on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
In this high-impact role, you will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams, gaining broad exposure across the business while directly influencing financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business performance.
- Drive Financial Excellence – Take ownership of the monthly Group Management Accounts, with support from the Head of Finance, ensuring accurate and insightful reporting that supports senior leadership in making informed decisions.
- Shape Strategic Insights – Play a key role in producing, enhancing, and delivering management information. Work closely with the tech team to increase the automation and efficiency of MI.
- Influence Business Planning – Contribute to the corporate financial forecasting processes which shape the company’s strategy; assist with the annual budgeting process.
- Be a Change Maker – Get involved in ad-hoc projects, collaborating across departments to deliver financial insights, improve decision making, and implement new processes or systems which enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain Strong Financial Oversight – oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process and manage weekly bank reconciliations, ensuring robust cost control, efficient supplier payments, and accurate cash reporting.
- Support Compliance and Governance – Contribute to the annual statutory audit process and assist with tax compliance requirements, ensuring the business meets all regulatory and reporting obligations.
The Ideal Candidate
- You're a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). MI and data analysis experience is a plus but not essential.
- You manage your time well, stay flexible and are comfortable prioritising your work, meeting deadlines and resolving queries promptly.
- You're commercially minded, highly numerate and have a sharp eye for detail.
- You have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and are confident presenting information to others.
- You're ambitious and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and the initiative to take things forward.
- You enjoy questioning how things are done and using technology to work more efficiently.
- You're curious about innovation and technology.
