Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or coursework in healthcare related fields preferred.
- Preference given to candidates pursuing or planning to enroll in an accredited radiography program within 12-24 months, though not required, to support career progression. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., medical assistant, patient care technician, or imaging aide) preferred; prior experience in diagnostic imaging or high-acuity environments strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and basic patient monitoring; familiarity with imaging workflows or contrast administration protocols is a plus.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds (e.g., supplies, assisting with patient transfers), and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills (e.g., IV starts, equipment adjustments).
