Are you a strategic procurement professional with a passion for driving value, influencing stakeholders, and managing complex global categories? We are looking for a Global Strategic Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and category strategies across Professional Services, including Financial Services, Sustainability, Consulting, Insurance, Risk Management, and Legal Services. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with global stakeholders, optimize supplier relationships, and contribute to the continuous evolution of our procurement organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies across Professional Services categories, leveraging market insights, supplier intelligence, and industry trends to identify value creation opportunities.
- Partner with regional and global stakeholders to align sourcing initiatives with business priorities and procurement objectives.
- Lead strategic sourcing projects, contract negotiations, and commercial discussions to secure optimal terms and mitigate risk.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key suppliers, driving performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee supplier performance management processes, including regular business reviews and performance assessments.
- Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation through compliance monitoring and renewals.
- Drive cost optimization and value delivery through benchmarking, spend analysis, supplier rationalization, and sourcing excellence.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate category and supplier risks to ensure business continuity and resilience.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), Legal, Finance, and Operational Procurement teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor and change agent, influencing stakeholders and promoting procurement best practices across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or supplier management within a multinational environment.
- Proven experience managing indirect procurement categories, ideally within Professional Services.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in contract negotiations, cost optimization, and value realization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience working across multiple functions and geographies.
- Experience with procurement systems such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, GEP, or similar platforms.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
