The Opportunity:

As a system administrator on our project, you’ll ensure mission-critical infrastructure and systems remain secure, functional, and available while identifying opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and security. You’ll support system administration, maintenance, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, and lifecycle activities across enterprise IT environments. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network and systems through monitoring, analysis, and performance management.

Your system administrator expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement across mission-critical systems and network infrastructure. You’ll help your team better understand the environment by turning system metrics, audit logs, vulnerability data, and performance information into actionable insights and explaining their meaning.

This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like cybersecurity compliance, RMF, cloud computing, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure modernization. You Have:

- 2+ years of experience supporting IT, systems administration, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology environments
- Experience administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Server and Windows workstation environments
- Experience with Palantir, Active Directory, Group Policy, user account administration, permissions, and access controls
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise LAN/WAN, server, workstation, and network infrastructure issues
- Experience implementing cybersecurity requirements, including STIGs, vulnerability remediation, RMF, or NIST SP 800-53 security controls
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Nice If You Have:

- Experience supporting DoD enterprise systems, mission-critical systems, or classified environments
- Experience with Cisco routing and switching, VMware virtualization, and enterprise network infrastructure
- Experience supporting RMF documentation, ATO readiness, security hardening, and vulnerability management activities

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
