Manufacturing Supervisor - Chino, CA

The Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of our door and / or frame lines within our Hollow Metal manufacturing operations. As a Manufacturing Supervisor , you will lead, coach, and develop a production team while driving operational discipline, maintaining a safe and quality-focused environment, and executing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

- Lead, coach, and develop a production team, conducting daily startup meetings and driving accountability for performance and attendance.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, and material flow to execute daily production aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and customer commitments.
- Identify production bottlenecks and constraints, implement immediate corrective actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and processing of wood veneer materials to minimize defects, damage, and scrap.
- Promote a proactive safety culture by conducting safety observations, enforcing PPE and 5S standards, and leading incident/near-miss investigations.
- Champion Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, optimize workflows, and track key operational KPIs.
- Maintain daily production reporting and collaborate closely with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.

What You Need to Succeed:

- Required Education: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and manufacturing experience).
- Preferred Education: Associate degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Required Experience: 1–3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Preferred Experience: Previous leadership, lead operator, team lead, or supervisory experience.
- Preferred Experience: Experience in wood products, door manufacturing, building products, or related manufacturing environments.
- Required Skills: Proven ability to read and execute production schedules and track shop-floor metrics.
- Required Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital production reporting/ERP systems.
- Preferred Skills: Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, root-cause problem solving, and 5S methodology.

Compensation:

This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

- The expected Base Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
