Data Scientist

Basic Qualifications:
• MS or PhD degree from an accredited university in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Materials Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning, demonstrating ability to apply machine learning algorithms and advanced statistical methods to production/field data using Python.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
• Strong statistical background with demonstrated expertise in analyzing industrial/manufacturing data.
• Basic SQL querying ability.
• Experience managing data science projects from problem definition and data collection through model development.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial plant environments and their unique challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Intermediate-to-Advanced SQL querying knowledge (window functions, pivots, etc.).
• Experience supporting machine learning model deployment and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Git revision control.
