Quality Assurance, AVP

Who we are looking for

The Quality Assurance AVP position will be an integral part of the IBS Integrated Banking System Cash Application Team and will be responsible for performing quality assurance activities including planning and testing. The candidate is expected to be a hands-on tester and work directly with team members on & offshore, application users, analysts and developers to understand the business as well as aid in the deployment and post deployment support of the solution developed. Candidates should be knowledgeable of MT Payments, Jira and have automation experience.

What you will be responsible for

- As a Quality Assurance Lead AVP you will:
- Participate in the definition of overall test strategy for an application or group of related applications within a unit
- Contributes to the execution of test resource plans for an application or group of applications
- Proactively articulates resource issues to senior management, including proposals for resolution
- Provides testing project leadership to onshore and offshore teams
- Analyzes and provides context and effective presentation of metrics gathered in the test process in order to propose and implement ongoing improvements
- Utilizes existing QA Engineer procedures and controls that are in place and adhered too throughout the testing process
- Guidance on project team activities as well as project team activities
- Manage/participate in the day to day activities of project team that may include onshore and offshore members

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

10+ years of software quality engineering experience.

5+ years of leadership experience managing QA and Quality Engineering teams.

Proven experience with enterprise-wide automation initiatives.

Strong knowledge of Agile, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

Experience working within large-scale enterprise technology environments.

Work Requirement

- Onsite 4 days a week in office and one day remote
- Standard business hours aligned to project and stakeholder needs(8am to 5pm)

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $167,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
