What You’ll Do

Position Summary: This position is responsible for supporting basic VoIP Network and Routing environments and providing basic system administration for Cisco VoIP environments. In addition to basic troubleshooting, this role is also responsible for add, move, change and delete activities for the VoIP and collaboration platforms.

Minimum Qualifications Required Educational Degree: Bachelor’s Degree or 5yrs of equivalent experience Major/Area of Concentration: Computer Technology Preferred Education: Required Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: Preferred Certifications, Credentials and Licenses: CCNP or a combination of certifications, education and work experience Lean Six Sigma White Belt and/or ITIL certification Required Experience: 5-7 years’ work experience Preferred Experience: Cisco Collaboration support experience or CCNA Collaboration Experience with Cisco Collaboration Solutions, 3rd party integrations into Cisco Collaboration systems, Cisco Route/Switch, end user applications (CAD/CSD/ Finesse/CUIC, Jabber, etc.)
Strong Customer Service skills are required. • Clearly and consistently communicates with caregivers and technical teams about the status and progress on issues. • Generates & implements clear and consistent documentation of customer environments. • Interacts directly with customers via phone, ticketing and in person. • Applies analytical skills and technical knowledge to solve technology problems of moderate to high complexity. • Uses knowledge of technology, products and services to troubleshoot and maintain networking solutions of all sizes • Invests time in continued education to learn new technologies. • Good verbal communication skills, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. • Strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast paced and collaborative work environment. • Basic operation system, virtualization and networking knowledge. Job Specific Essential Functions • Will act as a technical support resource for assigned issues and work closely with the technical teams to resolve problems. • Performs analysis and diagnosis of system problems. • Monitors and maintains customer collaboration and networking systems to provide a reliable, consistent and enjoyable user experience. • Provides advanced level technical support for numerous technologies to customers. • Effectively utilizes lab setups to recreate and solve problems • Maintains and optimizes collaboration system configurations Performs adds, moves, changes and deletes related to Cisco VoIP user and/or device administration • Participates in on-call 24x7 on-call rotation with support team Leads small to medium sized projects and provides stakeholders with status reports regarding project assignments. • Demonstrates knowledge of and supports hospital and IT mission, vision, value and promise statements, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior
