Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, experienced Warehouse & Delivery Associate to join our clients team. This is a hands-on warehouse and delivery position that requires more than simply operating a forklift.
The ideal candidate will have current forklift certification and strong forklift operating experience, along with experience driving a box truck and safely handling large, heavy materials. This individual will be responsible for moving and stacking materials, loading and unloading trucks, preparing deliveries, and maintaining an organized warehouse.
This position involves significant physical work and the handling of large items weighing hundreds of pounds. Candidates must be comfortable lifting and moving heavy boxes and materials throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and position large and heavy materials.

- Stack and retrieve materials at heights of up to 20 feet.

- Drive a company box truck up to 26 feet to make local deliveries and pick up materials.

- Safely load and secure materials for delivery and transport.

- Assist with unloading and moving large, bulky, and heavy items at delivery locations.

- Handle materials weighing hundreds of pounds, using proper equipment and safe lifting techniques.

- Lift, carry, push, pull, and maneuver heavy boxes and materials as needed.

- Receive, inspect, stage, and organize incoming materials.

- Prepare and stage materials for customer deliveries and shipments.

- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.

- Follow all safety procedures and proper material-handling practices.

- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.

- Perform other hands-on warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

- Current forklift certification required.

- Demonstrated experience safely operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment.

- Previous box truck driving experience required.

- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record.

- Previous experience handling large, bulky, or extremely heavy materials strongly preferred.

- Must be comfortable working with materials weighing hundreds of pounds.

- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy boxes and materials throughout the workday.

- Ability to safely operate a forklift and stack materials up to 20 feet high.

- Strong awareness of warehouse safety and proper material-handling procedures.

- Dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Important Position Expectations
This is NOT a sit-down forklift-only position. The successful candidate will spend part of their day operating a forklift, but the role also requires heavy physical labor, loading and unloading, stacking materials, preparing deliveries, driving a box truck, and moving large/heavy items. Candidates should be prepared for an active, physically demanding warehouse environment rather than a parts-picking or light warehouse position.

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $18.00-$21.00/hour
