Performs entry-level accounting duties to support the accuracy and integrity of financial records at the corporate or entity level, not supporting project accounting functions. Applies foundational knowledge of accounting principles to process transactions, prepare basic reconciliations, and assist in financial reporting. Collaborates with team members to maintain compliance with established policies and internal controls. Contributes to the efficiency of daily accounting operations by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time. Develops professional expertise through exposure to multiple areas of accounting within DPR Construction

Job Summary:
Performs entry-level accounting duties to support the accuracy and integrity of financial records at the corporate or entity level, not supporting project accounting functions. Applies foundational knowledge of accounting principles to process transactions, prepare basic reconciliations, and assist in financial reporting. Collaborates with team members to maintain compliance with established policies and internal controls. Contributes to the efficiency of daily accounting operations by completing assigned tasks accurately and on time. Develops professional expertise through exposure to multiple areas of accounting within DPR Construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares routine journal entries and account reconciliations under guidance to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assists in processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense transactions in accordance with company policies.
Maintains organized and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation.
Supports month-end and year-end close activities by compiling data and preparing standard reports.
Collaborates with team members to verify financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Participates in process improvement discussions and applies feedback to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Maintains confidentiality and adheres to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
Certifications and Licenses:
None required.
Successful completion of a background check is required.
