Job Summary:
Regis University invites applications for an affiliate faculty position in the English department to teach 16-week undergraduate courses in early British literature and introductory literature as needed by the BA Program within Regis College.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach a British literature survey for majors and an introductory literature course for non-majors.
- Design course syllabi and assignments.
- Plan and teach lessons.
- Hold regular office hours, meet with students as needed.
- Communicate with students in a timely fashion: answer student emails, keep grades up to date on WorldClass.
Minimum Qualifications:
- PhD, M.F.A., or M.A. in a related field, such as English, Literature, or Creative Writing from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association or evaluated as a non-US equivalent degree
- Undergraduate teaching experience
- Expertise in early British literature

This position is benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
