Job Overview

The Director - Business Unit (Actuators) defines business development strategy, manages ongoing business operations and takes overall P&L responsibility for the Business Unit assigned.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Define the business unit’s objectives, budgets, and success metrics, and steer execution toward measurable results.

- Analyze market and competitor trends to guide the development of the product portfolio and business direction.

- Shape and implement effective marketing concepts to strengthen market penetration across regional, product, and application-specific markets.

- Ensure strong customer service from both technical and commercial perspectives, with a clear focus on quality and responsiveness.

- Lead, develop, and empower your team while fostering an innovative and performance-oriented environment.

- Provide clear oversight, coaching, and feedback to employees, supporting goal setting, development planning, and performance management.

- Manage multiple priorities confidently, make quick and effective decisions, and maintain effective collaboration with local and international stakeholders as well as external customers.

Your Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally in business administration, mechanics, automation, material engineering, etc.

- 10+ years of progressive managerial experience

- Exposure to international business and culture

- Profound industry knowledge of designated sector with experiences in the field of business unit management, sales management, strategic planning or product management

- Market and Competitor knowledge, as well as product portfolio knowledge in Industrial sector

- Concept and analytical competencies, strong communications and implementation skills

- Fluent English

- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship
