What will you be doing in this role?
As a Transplant Outreach Coordinator, you will be the clinical expert who serves as the liaison between the Liver transplant programs, the patients and the referring physicians; the outreach coordinator supports the vision of the medical and surgical program directors in planning continuing medical and nursing education opportunities in the greater Los Angeles area.
Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience as Transplant Coordinator required
- Liver Transplant experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of case management required
- Experience in Data Management required
- Experience in coordinating large-scale community-based projects preferred
Education
- BSN required
- MSN preferred
License/Certification/Registration
- Current, unrestricted California RN License required
- Specialty or Transplant Certification required or obtain within one year from start date
- BLS from the American Heart Association required
