WS Field Specialist - WIS

We are seeking an experienced Coil Tubing Specialist to join our offshore operations in Atlantic Canada team supporting well
intervention activities on production platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe
and competent operation of coil tubing equipment, nitrogen pumping systems, and associated well control
equipment during live well operations.

Key Responsibilities

● Perform coil tubing operations in accordance with company and client HSE standards and
procedures.
● Operate and maintain N2 pumping units, fluid pumps, and coil power packs.
● Rig up, operate, and maintain strippers, injector subs, and coil quick-test subs.
● Support high-profile coil tubing operations on offshore production platforms.
● Conduct pre-job equipment inspections, function tests, and pressure testing.
● Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues in real time to minimize non-productive time (NPT).
● Complete job documentation, maintenance reports, and job summaries accurately.
● Communicate effectively with crew, supervisors, and client representatives on job status and
equipment readiness.
● Adhere strictly to well control and process safety protocols during all phases of operation.

Required Competencies

● N2 pumping operations and troubleshooting.
● Fluid pump operation and maintenance.
● Coil power pack operation.
● Stripper rig-up, operation, and maintenance.
● Injector sub operation
● Coil quick-test sub operation.
● High-profile coil tubing operations on offshore platforms.

Qualifications

● Minimum 5 years of hands-on coil tubing field experience
● Prior experience on offshore production platforms strongly desirable
● Relevant well control certification (current/valid) required
● Offshore survival and medical certifications (or ability to obtain prior to mobilization)
● Strong understanding of well control principles and pressure control equipment
● Ability to work in a demanding offshore environment, including rotational schedules
● Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently under pressure

Minimum Requirements

● Canadian residency
● Experience specific to Atlantic Canada / East Coast offshore operations
● Prior experience with major oilfield service providers
